The directors of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios are Jerry and Linda Topez Theodosiou. Both Jerry and Linda are champion dance professionals. They have competed in major competitions and have performed in the United States and Europe. Both have studied ballroom dancing in the United States and in England for many years. Having dual fellowships in ballroom and Latin dance, from the Imperial Society of dance teachers, recognized by world class professional dancers,they have reached the highest level of ballroom dance instruction.
Jerry has been a champion professional dancer for over 35 years. He continues to refine his skills through ongoing training from the Fred Astaire Dance organization and from the Imperial Society of teachers of dance. Jerry has been the dance director for a major dance organization. He has won the prestigious first place professional ballroom dancing award at the New York World's Fair. The New York World's Fair featured professional dancers from all over the world.
Linda is also a champion professional dancer for 20 years with many dance accomplishments to her credit. Like all dedicated dancers, Linda continues to refine her skills with the Fred Astaire dance organization and from the Imperial Society of teachers of dance.
The dance team of Jerry and Linda placed second in the ballroom division of the prestigious Fred Astaire National dance championships. Other major accomplishments in their careers are the top teacher award in many Fred Astaire Dance Competitions, and top studio awards in other dance competitions.
Jerry and Linda's successes can be seen in their students awards for dance. Many have won many first place awards in several dance competitions which includes the Fred Astaire National Dance Championships.
